ADR compliance

ADR is a 1957 United nations treaty that governs the international transport of hazardous materials. The abbreviation ADR is derived for the French name for the treaty :- “Accord europeen relatif au transport international des marchandises Dangereuses par Route”. The agreement itself is brief and simple, and its most important article is article 2. This article states that, with the exception of certain exceptionally dangerous materials, hazardous materials may, in general, be transported internationally in wheeled vehicles, provided certain conditions are met. There are 9 (nine) different classes of dangerous goods according to ADR – ranging from “Explosive substances and Articles” to “Miscellaneous dangerous substance and Articles” To ensure we comply with all the latest changes and requirements for ADR transportation we employ a Dangerous Goods Safety Advisor (DGSA). All of our drivers have undertaken the requisite training to comply with ADR regulations and the majority of our vehicles are kitted out with ADR equipment.

Offroad 4x4 vehicles

We provide a range of 4×4 vehicles to cover any of the smaller eventualities. All of the vehicles have the capacity to pull 3500kgs. All of the vehicles have been fitted with tachographs and the drivers who use them are all CPC trained. To accompany the vehicles we have two Ifor Williams plant trailers – one of which is equipped with a small crane giving us great flexibility.

Mercedes Unimog

The uses for this vehicle are almost limitless. It can be used for pulling small towable loads or for pulling drag trailers with large, more bulky items. The beauty of this vehicle is that it can pull most things off road giving massive flexibility and adaptability. It also has the bonus of a small crane capable of lifting up to 1400kgs.

Testimonials
"Over the years, working with yourselves and your teams, we have built up a business relationship of support that I have never known with previous contracts during my career. The support and professionalism that has been shown has been, in my experience, second to none. Our involvement with yourselves on planned work has been carried out with efficiency, good team working between ourselves and some humour! Also as you are aware, the work that we do can be fraught with unforeseen difficulties such that when we have required immediate support, your teams have always taken up the challenge / provided solutions and ensured that we have been able to deliver our work. I would like to give our sincere thanks for all the support and superb service received.".

NRPS
"Just a quick line to say how impressed we were with the service provided for the job at Hatfield yesterday. We have used quite a few transport companies and you were by far the best we have used, from the conversations with yourself to ensure everything was in place to the excellent driver. Lee was very professional and could not have been more helpful, in my opinion a credit to the company and himself. Thanks again for all your help and I will look forward to using your services again when required".
